Pedro left the house early this morning (the others left on Friday) and i'm here until Tuesday afternoon. I hate living on my own. That surprises me a little as when everyone is around, i tend to hide away and keep myself to myself a lot more than my mood here is letting on right now. I guess it's just a little too convenient knowing people are going to be there. I'm not going crazy or anything though so don't worry! Just a little bored really. Have a night planned of television, watching Layer Cake and maybe do something constructive in this time of lonerdom (yeah that's a word fool). I could apply for more placements, do some Uni work, tidying this absolute tip of a house or start to assemble that seelive zine i've been meaning to do for a AGES.

I'm thinking of throwing a party here during the easter holidays but then i just think nobody will be around to come to it! Everyone is skint and has gone home for easter i think. Think i'm going to pop to the beach tomorrow with whoever is around! I know Aimee wants to mooch on the beach, yeah.

Work last night should have been fun but it ended up being a bit poo. I was tired, grotty and had to entertain 200+ ignorant punks all night. The majority of the bands that played were damn shocking. I did use to listen to punk non-stop when i was younger so it's not as if i'm biased against the whole genre. I think the only thing that caught my attention the whole night was when one of the bands sang a song about David Beckham containing the lyrics 'David Beckham fuck off to Real Madrid, David Beckahm fuck off to Real Madrid.' That was ace..People at the front were spitting on one of the bands who were calling the crowd cunts on a regular basis. That was also ace. It reminded me of a NOFX interview i once read where they didn't use to like playing England cos people kept spitting on them. I'm assuming this is a character trait of a disgruntled english punk.

Everything possible went wrong with the venue as is accustomed to an end of term non-student event. As it's the end of term they don't bother ordering anymore alcohol. Needless to say we ran out of EVERYTHING on tap by about midnight and we didn't have any sambucca at all. As the night progressed, more and more stuff sold out and the already ignorant punks became even more of a bane to society. I just thought that none of them are students, so you can't possibly take these cheap drinks for granted...so stop being so god damn fussy! If it was me or mates i'm sure we would just drink whatever was there without kicking up a huge fuss. I guess you can understand them being a bit pissed off with the situation but even at the start of the night it was just all evil glances, forced attitude and total lack of trying to co-operate! I guess when your working you just want total convenience with no problems. Needless to say if i wasn't working and was actually at the gig, i would have enjoyed it. Thankfully not all the people were assholes. Me and Ed even got invited to a party but decided not to go as we didn't know where Westover Cliff Road was. Anyone know?!

Went back home on Friday for a night out. Had a wicked time. Particuarly liked sitting around a huge table in the Swan with everyone like old times. As a result, am really looking forward to going home on Tuesday. Mooney Suzuki and Nine Black Alps are playing Moles in the next two weeks, smashing.

I've just looked around my room and there's way too many empty bottles of budweiser. WAY TOO MANY.
