Positive life changes
I am really pleased with how the experiment of changing from using the car to get to school and using the bus instead has gone. Not only are we saving money by not using the car (and of course being nice to the environment) but it is proving to be socially valuable too. It turns out that there are 3 children near by who go to the same school and the girls really like going on the bus with them and I get to chat to their mums. Also, by picking them up myself after-school I get to know some of the other mums, chat and generally make friends. Who would have thought an attempt to save money would have other benefits :)
