Today I made the most amazing discovery about NYC. In Manhattan I found out on the web that there's The Center for Book Arts. They have classes revolving around bookbinding, printing, and other art-related miscellania. I love books and I love printmaking so book arts sounds very ideal as my main focus as an artist. I am in LOVE! There was this one class I wanted to sign up for involving 3-D revolving cube type thing. Except the dates were Nov 22-23. I was sitting at my computer desk racking my brain wondering why is it that I couldn't take this class. Then huge disappointment washed over me as I realized Nov 22nd is my LCAT TEST DATE !!! How could I have forgotten?!
But I'm excited in seeing their gallery. And one day signing up for classes (have to start saving up). Maybe I'll volunteer to get my foot in the door and get to know people who are part of the NPO.
