(no subject)
You never realize how awesome running water is until you have none. A pipe burst in the garage because some damn rat ate through the insulation and caused it to freeze. So that sucked. But Scott ghetto fixed it so we have water again. But that was the most horrible 24 hours that we had it turned off. APPRECIATE YOUR PLUMBING.
Nate and I got a Betta fish. He's beautiful. That ups the toll to 9 animals in our house. I can't decide what to call him, but I did come up with the cleverness of "Alpha the betta." I think it might stick.
I got Nate something really cool for the 14th, and he thinks he's getting something else, so ha I win. And when I was getting a card for him I went ahead and bought a goodbye card for when he leaves. It's cute, it has a puppy with a suitcase on the front and the inside says "take me with you." That's going to be some long months without him. Hopefully I get to see him in between him going to school and his departure.
Okay, but really, I'm behind in school work so I'm going to go do some more procrastinating.
-Read Mean Girls and summarize, due last Monday
-Get a review and xerox it and summarize, due today
-Read online supplement for religion, supposed to be done yesterday
-Compare two religious articles, due a week ago
-start reading the Bagavad Gita, tomorrow
-Read Issue 2, tomorrow
-Print out some panel stuff for cultural, for tomorrow
-Go see advisor and declare major
Have I done any of this? No. I'm about to go see my advisor though, so that's one thing. Why am I sitting here doing this? I'm still drunk from last night.
