Well school sucks. But we knew that. I made friends with some of the freshmen in my classes. In my World Religions class I sit next to Russell. A tall skinny, extremely sarcastic kid, who is hysterical and never takes notes. The teachers voice cracks me up. In my Statistics class is Ben. Another tall skinny freshmen, but a quiet, mellow one who is always laughing at me (for burping and being figety). I think he gets annoyed cause i talk a lot. My Existentialism class (philosophy) seems scary. Its all serious, and all the kids are juniors and seniors. They dont even seem nice! So no friends in that class yet. Chorus is cool. All chicks and most of them seem really nice. Hopefully they are.
So home this weekend for hurricane francis (frances?) Krystal stayed at our house. All the neighborhood peeps hung out together, we all played manhunt and uno, and it was windy and we didnt have power. so it was fun but it sucked. I had a bunch of schoolwork to do but i didnt do any of it. I dont know why i even brought it home. So now i have a lot of catching up to do, plus i left one of my binders at home- and i need it! SHIT!
Having no power makes me realize how dependent on it we are, but also how much we are constantly wasting. Its a shame.
Today on the ride home we saw a couple convoy's of power trucks headed south. So hopefully power will be restored shortly. Leaving home was sad. Today was the last time i'll see my kitty Ted. We have to put him to sleep soon, so mom said i had to say goodbye. We got him when i was three, and he has cancer on his ear and a huge tumor on his neck. So he's always bloody and smelly. But its really hard, because he's still pretty energetic- and its always hard to say goodbye to someone you love. I LOVE YOU TED. :'-(
In other news - Good news too.
- I made the UCF Crew team. (Rowing)
- My birthday is this week. Yay. i'm going to be twenteen.
p.s. Rocco, I hope you are doing better. I love you.
