I had an experience tonight, that I haven't had in a very long time.
I had my first late class... from 6-9. I got out early, since it was just a tutorial, and nothing interesting or difficult was being covered. I went out, and as I opened the door I cursed... It's raining, and not a little bit either. Good solid heavy rain, that soaks a person through. Thanking whatever dietal figure exists that I had a waterproof backpack, I tucked all my electronics and papers into it safely, so all I had in my pocket was my key, and I headed for the car. Unfortunately... I was nowhere close to my car. I'm not sure I could've parked further from the building without having parked over by Superstore, or something else ridiculous. So, I ended up walking across half of campus, through the rain. However, it turned out to be nice warm rain, and though I was thoroughly soaked, I wasn't uncomfortable. UPEI campus is actually very nice, quiet and even a bit comforting late at night. I enjoyed myself immensely, and I reached my vehicle, and I walked in a few circles... I really didn't want to stop walking in the rain. It's been such a long time since I played, or was just out in the rain, for more than a dash from point a to point b. I was soaked, but I enjoyed it. I wish I could find someone important, or cute, or fun to talk with, to walk with some night when it's raining... but time's mostly out for this year. I'm sure that I'll never have the chance. Too bad...
