The flashback:
Sets the mood well, although when Azazel came to possess the priest, I couldn't stop laughing. It was, like, the longest stream of dust/sulfur/demon particles EVER to have entered into a human being. Yes. We get it. YED is quite potent.
BOBBY!SPEECH:

HAHHA. The "green room." I nearly died when all the burgers and beer apparated. Along with "The Suite Life of Zach and Cas." Um... Dean watches the Disney channel?!
One of my favourite scenes in Supernatural was during second flashblack when we see YED kneeling before a slain nun, draped upsidedown across the communion table. LOVED the imagery. Complete inversion of everything.
And the exchange between Dean and Castiel?
Castiel: WHAT IS SO WORTH SAVING? I SEE INSIDE YOU DEAN, AND I SEE YOUR GUILT, YOUR ANGER, YOUR CONFUSION. IN PARADISE YOU WILL BE WITH ME AT PEACE.
Dean: [spends a long time deliberately catching Castiel's eye] GTFO. I will take the pain, the guilt, even take Sam as is. It's a lot better than playing Stepford Wives in Paradise.
Castiel: [look put out, turns away]
Dean: There's a right and there's a wrong here, and you know it! LOOK AT ME, CASTIEL
Then Dean grabs Castiel by the shoulders and spins him around as fangirls across the world scream in ecstasy.
AND THEN DEAN ACCUSES CASTIEL OF BEING A SPINELESS BITCH AND BREAKS UP WITH HIM. How many times do they need to break up before they realize they were meant to be together?
AS IF ON CUE, Castiel comes back in the green room, shoves Dean up against a wall, and takes him there, as is bleeds himself. Dean is confused as he is getting mixed signals. And Castiel continues to be badass and disobeys. Have not felt this sort of excitement since season 1 of Supernatural, seriously.
I'm glad they brought Chuck back this episode, if only for a snippet. I love Chuck so much!
So the revelation of Ruby's betrayal was not... as much of a punch as I wish it could've been. May have been because during Ruby's hysterical "I'M AWESOME!" speech I kept on cringing instead of feeling disturbed.
And although the apocalypse is coming, I am glad the brothers are back together again, here, at the end of all things.
ALSO, really want to make a Dean/Cas vid to Katy Perry's "Hot N Cold"
