Microfic and the Bentley
I come bearing Aziraphale and Crowley microfic and a few images of Bentleys. Why the images? Well, for those of you that are artists or are just curious as to what a 1926 Bentley looks like. Why the fic? Because it took me forever and was hard so I thought I'd show someone. ^-^;
This idea/ prompt was originally stolen from fengtianshi but because of a misreading, I altered the instructions. ^^;
Original prompt: Write 10 different categories of fic, each in 10 words or less.
What I did: Write 10 different minifics, each in 10 words or less, using different prompts.
I chose to do this because I never do well at these and wanted to challenge myself. First I write the prompt word I used, then the title. I focused on Aziraphale and Crow, with a few original characters that fit into their verse on the side.
Smooth ‘Serpent’
“Go on.”
Aziraphale hesitated-though ‘evil,’ Crawly’s scales felt good.
Itchy ‘Another way the Arrangement could have started: Feather Mites’
“You scratch mine, I’ll scratch yours.”
“You’d best mean wings.”
Fear ‘Searching’
Demon-scent and torn scrolls everywhere.
“Angel?”
“…C-crowley?”
A hitched sigh.
Soothing ‘Another Natural Disaster’
“Crowley, why?”
He didn’t know, but he offered his hand.
Greed ‘Apocalypse’
They desperately fought the End to avoid their inevitable separation.
Love ‘An Instance He Was Not Required.’
Watching Aziraphale and Crowley, Archangel Raphael smiled-nothing broken there.
Joy ‘A Good Day’
Raphael beamed-literally. He’d ended the plague and acquired chocolates.
Rough 'Healer'
Whatever the corporation, Raphael had gentle but worn, caretaking hands.
Envy ‘A Mortal Life…’
Tobias could live, and die, with Sarah. Asmodeus could not.
Gritty 'Bitter taste of Love'
After Banishment, he forgot her taste, mouth full of loss.
You guys know Azi and Crow, also mentioned is Archangel Raphael, the demon Asmodeus, and human Sarah (all 3 orginal versions of chars in religious folklore/apocrypha books).
((Explanation for those who care: Raph and Asmodeus used to have a truce. Asmodeus truly loved Sarah, but took to killing every man who tried to marry her. Then Tobias (who was Blessed and chosen by God to be Sarah's husband) came along. Under orders to protect Tobias, Raphael banished Asmodeus who turned both emo and even more evil. Yes, that is the silly version xD.))
It took me forever to write those 10 word things. Seriously, I've written essays quicker than I wrote some of those. xD
