I couldn't resist

The urge to post this. Somewhere, Crowley is snickering saying, 'They'll never call me a GARDEN SNAKE again!'

And then, because I neglected to post this here (I put it on my own lj) when I actually drew it...

It was the first time I drew Aziraphale and was remotely happy with him--especially the one in the bottom corner. I draw him with a few more eye-wrinkles, but only when it's really up close. Still, I'm never totally satisfied with how I draw these two. And Crowley, who was easier to draw at first, just won't come out how I see him in my head. Ah well. Anyway, this was sketched in pencil and then inked, then I erased the pencil (obviously xD).

*Eve Is Jealous (humorlist-digest V2 #44 on 98-02-15)

Adam was returning home late one night after drinking with the dodo and the unicorn. Eve got angry. "You're seeing another woman, aren't you?"

Adam replied, "Don't be silly, you're the only woman there is" and went to sleep.

Later that night Adam woke up on feeling a tickling sensation on his chest and saw it was Eve causing it. "What exactly are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm counting your ribs," she responded.

*(I have nothing against kids, I swear! :3) (from jokelibrary.net)
After creating heaven and earth, God created Adam and Eve. And the first thing he said was: "Don't".
"Don't what?" Adam replied.
"Don't eat the forbidden fruit." God said.
"Forbidden fruit? We got forbidden fruit? Hey, Eve...we got forbidden fruit!"
"No way!" said Eve.
"Yes way!"
"Don't eat that fruit!" said God.
"Why?"
"Because I am your Father and I said so!" said God, wondering why he hadn't stopped after making the elephants.
A few minutes later God saw his kids having an apple break and was angry. "Didn't I tell you not to eat the fruit?" the First Parent asked.
"Uh huh, " Adam replied.
"Then why did you?"
"I dunno" Eve answered.
"She started it!" Adam said.
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"DID NOT!!"
Having had it with the two of them, God's punishment was that Adam and Eve should have children of their own. Thus, the pattern was set and it has never changed. But there's reassurance in this story. If you have persistently and lovingly tried to give your own children wisdom and they haven't taken it, don't be hard on yourself. If God had trouble handling His children, what makes you think it would be a piece of cake for you?

Hope you enjoyed. ^_^
