A drabble to take up some post-Antichristmas slack ...
Okay, I'm only a little bit tired of waiting for someone else to post something, so I guess I'll do one.
Drabble, one hundred words exclusive of title.
Title: First Commendation

Crowley growled at the book he had been idly leafing through and pitched it across the room. A shocked angel manifested himself in the doorway, barely articulating, “Throwing books, my dear?”
“Stupid book! Stupid humans! I didn’t even have hands! You had the sword! It was yours!”
Aziraphale retrieved the book and induced it to reveal the page that had upset the demon. Running a finger beneath the text, he muttered, “... the talking serpent and seducer of the Garden of Eden ... Gadre’el made man familiar with the weapons of war.”
“And did you get a commendation?” the angel smiled coyly.
