2 offerings- a drabble-thing and icons!

A sort of little drabble thing, though it's 300 or so words, so it's not a drabble. It's just a thing.
I've been in the GO fandom for a while, lurking and reading, and so here is where I share a little... little something.

Title: Survival
Rating: PG
Summary: "Aziraphale entered the flat, looking around nervously."

Aziraphale entered the flat, looking around nervously. He wasn’t one to barge into people’s homes unannounced, but he’d been in the area, so to speak, and he really needed to talk to Crowley.

His gaze fell on a white and gold flower that had lost two petals. The surrounding flowers were, Aziraphale could see, nearly imperceptivity leaning away from the wilting plant. Aziraphale supposed it was an act of survival.

He didn’t doubt the plants were scared and looked down at the white and gold flower with pity. He’d never understand why Crowley was so cruel to his plants. Aziraphale touched a hand to the flower, mumbling a few words. The lost petals vanished and the plant grew just a bit fuller, it’s petals noticeably more vibrant.

“I saw that,” came an amused voice from the door.

“Oh, I was just,” Aziraphale looked wildly at the plant, wondering if he should apologize to Crowley for fixing his plant, or the plant for fixing it and ultimately getting it into even more trouble.

“I just rather like this one,” Aziraphale said weakly, “I suppose I’ve always had a soft spot for white and gold.”

Crowley gave Aziraphale a measuring look, his gaze dropping down to the offending plant. He shrugged.

“If you like it,” he said nonchalantly, “it can stay. You free for lunch?”

“Of course,” Aziraphale followed Crowley out the door. As he was crossing the room, he was overcome with the strangest sensation - it sounded like twenty or so plants all over the apartment were begging for him to be their friend.

He shook himself off and followed Crowley out the door.

The white and gold flower stood tall. If it could, it’d be smiling smugly at all the other flowers that were now inching closer in a wholly different act of survival.

Also, while I'm at it! I made icons from linnpuzzle's art just the other day. Examples:
