There is fic with consequences, and yes, I've heard the lore you mentioned.

Actually, when I first joined the fandom, most of the fic I found featured Aziraphale and Crowley thinking that if they had sex the angel would Fall. In some cases, it happened. In a few, it didn't.

I wrote a story that did the opposite- rather than boffing like bunnies and Aziraphale falling or thinking he would, Crowley sort of... unFell. Because he loved the angel and love is redeeming.

I'm hoping I'll be able to share the story when my laptop gets fixed.

I recall reading a short fic once where, after the first time they had sex, Aziraphale Fell and Crowley unFell. Very interesting. Ubnfortunately, I have no idea what it's called, or where to find it again... >_>
