Self-sacrificing fanaticism is really, really not Crowley's style. For some reason, for a long time before most of the rest of this story came together, I had a mental image of him leaping from a castle wall, faking death for an audience but really flying away unscathed. It wasn't until the rest of the story started unfurling that it hit me...wait a minute... is that Alamut?! Bwahahah!

Isn't that picture gorgeous? So warm and...aw...

Thanks so much for commenting on this part, BTW. Obviously most of the comments after Part 2, but this one's dear to me too. :D

The Sodom & Gomorrah misunderstanding has...well, not exactly a soft spot in my heart, but I just get terribly happily amused when I see people who know the old-style sin. If you know what I mean. Which you do. :)

Hehe...I love that image too. I've used a time or two myself, actually, although with tengu characters rather than demons (or angels).

oh, I've saved this story for a few days. It's so wonderful, both of you.

I love their interactions - the bantery dialogue is just great. And I love all the plot-heavy details. I can really tell that you did your homework!

The art is lovely. Just lovely. Okay, and really effing HOT, too!

I am really enjoying the emotional interaction between these two that both of you have captured.

now, I'm going to read the next part tomorrow night!
