From yesterday's Guardian, some happy-sad news: Sir PTerry has started the formal process that will allow him, when the time comes, to undergo assisted suicide at the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland.
Relatedly, his documentary film on the subject, Terry Pratchett: Choosing to Die, will be airing on BBC2 tonight at 9pm GMT, and will be available on BBC iPlayer (hopefully) not too long afterwards.
(Before commenting, please note that this doesn't mean it will necessarily be soon - or, at least as the Guardian would have it, that he will elect to go through with it at all. He is simply putting in place the legal framework that will allow him to go as himself, at a time of his own choosing.)
