Brian
I'm sick, tired and cranky. Just give me a bitchy post lol
My aunt saw Brian at court last night. She said it was for unpaid fines for driving without a license...he was given 30 more days to pay the $1,100. Considering these are old fines...remember when he got busted driving last August? I'm sure he has no intentions on paying them. How could he??
I can't even imagine the amount of stress he's under now with all the money he owes. So what does he do? Seeing as he owes close to $11,000 (that I know of)...he gets engaged and somehow they got a car. Unless his family bought it, it's a but here pay here car because they have no money. Cars cost money...insurance, gas, etc. Oh man, I'm not even thinking of what they owe on that Journey that got repo'ed in August. It was a $20,000 vehicle....I'm sure they still owed that much, if not more on the loan. I wonder who they got to co-sign for it? I dunno. If his family was dumb enough to do it....they got what they deserved.
So he owes $1,100 in fines for this incident. Who knows how many others there are...this was after he's been to court/busted like 8 times for driving without a license, according to the article I read last August. The court system is fabulous. Let's keep giving him fines. There's no doubt in my mind that he's driving now.
He owes current and back taxes on his house. I'm sure the mortgage hasn't been paid either, but since his family carries that and it's not through a bank, I'll never know the truth. His cousin told me his aunt mentioned "it hasn't been paid in years" well kick his ass out. That's $3,600 a year (a $300 a month mortgage. Yeah. Asshole).
Then, as of today, he owes me like $3,200 in arrears for child support. He hasn't paid ANYTHING since we went to court over a month ago. I'm not surprised
I'll just wait my time. He has until mid-May to pay me or face jail time. There's no escaping this anymore. He owes money for fines...he owes back taxes....
A responsible adult gets a job. Brian continues to sit on his ass hoping to collect disability. It hasn't been that long since he applied...so even if they paid him $660 a month and had to give him back disability, at most it's been a year since he applied (I don't think it's even been that long) that's only like $8,000. He's still $4,000 shy of paying off everything, no including his mortgage. And that's IF he's approved in the next month and IF they send it to him.
I hate to get my hopes up, but it finally feels like the noose is tightening around him. It's sad that the kids get caught up in this, but what can you do? Throughout it all he's continued to have a cell phone and cigarettes. Priorities y'all.
I know how Brian is. He doesn't do payments. Say he has a $600 bill and only $350 in cash. He's like "well I can't pay it all this week, so I'll get it next week". Instead of putting the $350 down, he spends it and says he'll play catch-up next week and it keeps snowballing. Now it's snowballed into well over $11,000 in debt. There's only one member in his family that can bail him out. I hope he doesn't take advantage of her and I hope she's smart enough to see through his crap.
Cry me a river.
