Horse and Carriage
Oh, right, forgot to tell everyone. Married last night in a small civil ceremony at City Hall with just our immediate families to witness.
Actually, that's not a lie. We didn't want to have it be a big deal right now, especially with my family in particular starting to encroach rather heavily into the wedding plans. That an economically speaking, there was virtually no way we could have pulled off a full-sized wedding in the time we had with the cashflow being stifled by the economy.
Now, we ARE still having a big party further down the road, possibly still in May, but I was thinking further into the summer now. We intend to renew our vows then for all to see. Time and place aren't definite right now, but as details get ironed out, we'll make sure everyone knows.
I must say I am very happy with Kevin. He does complete that little void I have within me. He's supportive, caring, and able to knock me down a few pegs when I get too pompous and self-righteous for my own good.
So that's that. I'll have some pics in a few days. Hope everyone is well, and I'll keep everyone up to date on the big party (Codename: Big Fat Gay Party) as we hammer out details.
