The "What I've Learned" post

Jan 01, 2007 22:09

I know i hardly ever update anymore but i have given alot of thought to alot of topics.

The new year is here finaly and although it sucked, i can look back on 2006 and say that I have learned more last year than i ever have in my entire life.

Let's start a month to month list here.

January
Trever pt. 2 electric bugaloo.
I was extremely happy to have him back. He was my everything at that time and to have it all come again was a great feeling.

February
The Poverty Shuffle
I had no job and the next few months were the hardest to get through but brought on the most change. I was unemployed, had no money to my name, and i was forced to sell things that in the year previous, would have been the most important thing i had. I got a job in the middle of the month as a host at a new restauraunt in town called Cheeseburger In Paradise. and it brought in some money but not that much.

March
Spring cleaning
Winter was over and so were trever and i...again. The ac in my duster didn't work and i was suprised to discover how shallow i had become. I was excited that i could wear flip-flops again...woot.

April.
Things Pick Back Up
Money started to come back in and it felt like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders.

May
License Revoked
two things happened in this month that were a shock and a loss.
1) my license was suspended for eight months. luckly i almost have it back.
2) this one sticks with me every day. One of the macombers, a close friend, an amazing talent, and an equaly amazing person passed away. Singing at her funeral was the hardest thing i have ever had to do. I know we all miss Corrine.

these events are some i have learned alot from and i am glad that they happened as sad as some may be. I have learned so much and i hope i can learn some more come 2007

*months June through december really don't have much going on. except i was promoted at work to a server position(which brought more money) and i had kindof found solace in the arms of somebody that i never expected, they have an lj so i won't name names, but they helped alot.
