Not sure if this is the best place to ask about this but I'm really struggling.
I'm having a fairly low-budget wedding set for October 22nd. We have most things sorted out, handmade invites, handmade favours and so on.

My dilema is that my mum is making my wedding cake as she makes the most gorgeous rich fruit cake but we have no idea what's teh best thing to ice it with. We are thinking roll-out icing as she has never iced a cake before so can anyone give me some tips on what's the best?
