What a rush
Whirlwind spring break is almost over! I can't believe it.
Last night was awesome; got to see Devyn! Which I hadn't for months and months. We saw Duplicity (after I drove out to Pearland. I STILL love driving. It's confirmed) and I thought it was good but Devyn and Amalie called that the worst movie ever. Then we had fun random discussion times in the Marble Slab next to it and I got a few pictures. Going to have at least a few to post as an album! Just have to get them off my phone. *grumble*
I'M GOING TO AUSTIN TO SEE RENT IN MAY I AM SO EXCITED
Countdown: 35 days
Me and Jules are going to make a day trip of it and see Adam Pascale and Anthony Rapp and see it on stage before it goes away and we're forty before a revival movement comes along.
Just printed my boarding pass for tomorrow. *sob* I don't want to leave! But I console myself with the fact that I'll be back in a month. Literally. Just got to get through one more month. I can do this.
I've definitely also confirmed to myself that LSU is where I want to be. Transferring isn't for me. I also think I've got my life planned out a bit more. My aunt's friend (and family friend) Butch is into Library Science and all that so I need to talk to him a bit more and maybe he can help me out with that. I might end up getting my undergrad English and Teaching degrees, then accelerate a Masters in Library Science afterwards in like, a year, year and a half and become a high school librarian. It doesn't sound all that glamorous, but I have decided that I truly do want to be famous for my words. And an idea literally exploded in my mind last night while I was waiting for Amalie to get her things together before I dropped her off at her dad's place. It's kind of awesome and I'll get it sketched out more before I show it off, methinks.
Dropped by Tess' apartment last night and ended up driving home at 3am. It was actually cool to not have any traffic between there and here, it took all of 9 minutes on Beechnut, basically. Wish I had gotten there earlier, though, there was Patron. *pout* But I did have a good time yesterday, so I can't/won't complain.
Still have to give you recaps about emotionality in Colorado and why I love my friendship with Rachel so much. Will do that when I have more time, probably tomorrow or Monday. I still need to catch up on Castle! I missed it for the March Madness final with the APD boys. I'm going to make them something nice. OOh. Something nice. Steph's birthday! And Meg's! Crap.
Okay. Gotta go watch Tropic Thunder with mom, spend some quality time and whatnot. I'll be skimming Watchmen, but hey. Family time is family time. Next time I blog, I'll be back in BR!
