Magically, in nigh on fucking APRIL, I think I've finally gotten myself into a reasonable schedule.
I live for breakfast, as in, it gets me out of bed in the morning early just to go get hot food and fresh fruit. I am rewarded with pancakes 50% of the time. It also kickstarts my day. (HOW 'BOUT THAT, HUH) I am even starting to wake up around 8:30 of my own accord, CRAZY RITE?
Class, lunch with friends, NO NAPPING or light napping (compared to black holes of 4-5 hour gaping, snoring, drooling unconsciousness), dinner with Steph and/or friends, light homework during TV tiems, working out at the UREC a little after 10 for 10-15 minutes or however many miles/calories/etc. I decide on, shower, finish homework, bed.
Of course, I'm going to fuck it all up in three days, but it's nice to enjoy it as it is right now! :D
Paranoia that everything is going to go terribly wrong with traveling come Saturday is mounting, and I keep trying to just not think about it at all ever.
Alright, can't extrapolate/bore you to death with the mundane today, gotta go write on The Great Gatsby. Which I still find as pointless as I did when I was watching the movie in discussion class this/last Monday. It's rich white people drinking, sweating and cheating in New York in the 1920s. Why do I care? Oh wait, I don't. Right. I mean, I see how it could be pivotal/important/whatever to literature, but at the same time, it has no bearing on my cultural responses, so... *shrug* Nonchalance is the name of the game?
SVU was on tonight. Not one of their best. Not bad, but not as good as say, "Fault." I mean, there are few as good as that, but you know what I mean. (You don't? Er... pretend you do, nod and smile. There you go.) I blame it on lack of E/O, which is something I rarely do. Although with Mariska alll sick and whatnot (IT MAKES MY HEART HURT TO HEAR SUCH NEWS) I'm not surprised. What I am surprised about is the lack of legal in these episodes. You rope Stephanie March in for five episodes, Alex Cabot better work her legal eagle ass off, damn it. There is not enough of me staring at the screen going "HAI ALEX, HAI ALEX'S PRITTY HAIRS" and hardly paying attention to what has been said. (And I see what you did there, intro sequence, Michaela McManus is sekritly/efficiently/cleverly cropped out. Mhmmm. *eyebrow arch*) She did do some classic Cabot!favor calling/maneuvering/friend-puppet-string-pulling though, and that's always fun tiems, so I am content.
And speaking of SVU...
Dear USA Network,
You know I love you. SO STOP SHOWING SVU MARATHONS WHEN I'M NOT AROUND.
