back to school, back to school

I feel like Billy Madison, except I just haven't been to school in a month.

A few certainties:

Fiction should be easy.
I will fail French.
The theatre class was nothing I expected.

Yeaaahhh... I have a interro en francais demain over vocab from chapters 1-7 of a book I had to scramble to get today that I vaguely remember. On the upside, it's just a, she-says-a-french-word-we-write-down-the-english-counterpart type of thing. And she's super cool. And kinda pretty, I happened to notice for some strange reason. She was mumbling about "I'm a researcher, not a professor" fairly frequently. On the downside, she speaks almost entirely in French because it's school mandated objective, but on the upside, I mostly understood her! I consider that an accomplishment, considering I haven't taken French in a year and a half. So, I can comprehend what she means for us to do. The execution of it is more difficult, and speaking when I don't have a prompt is almost impossible.

So if this journal starts diving into bad french fairly frequently, get used to it. I'm going four days a week. *wails* I know. No, I know. *cries harder*

*sigh*

Fiction is giong to be fairly easy, I think. 7 two page papers on the 7 books we read, and small assignments on them. Mid term and Final are 20 and 30% of my grade, respectively, and are multiple choice and short answer (hallelujahs were sung). Mondays are late because they're discussion groups, and I happened to luck out on which section I was in because I could very well be getting up at 9:30 on Mondays.

As it were, I have three back to back classes and I'm done by 1:30. I'm kinda excited. :D

Anyway, I'll go to French (*obligatory whine*), and then two classes I haven't yet graced: Major American Authors and Intro to British Lit. MOAR BOOKS she seemed to say.

daily grind, eddie allusions, class, bad french
