Filler post.
I realized a little while ago that since I got here, I've been posting every day. So, I'd like to keep the tradition alive. I'll tell you about my day.
A) Didn't go to the football game this morning; woke up and was disappointed as hell when we don't have ESPN Classic in our cable package so I can't view it from the comfort of my be.d
B) Finally rolled out of my room around noonish to grab lunch.
C) Found out Kiah's life is not working. And by life I mean LSUID, which has everything that a student could possibly need on it.
D) Realized I'm not actually homesick for home. I miss people, I miss my parents, I miss (mom's) car, I miss being fifteen minutes from my friends, I miss TPP Craziness, but I don't want to go home. I just got here.
E) Did laundry for the first time downstairs. Easy as pie, cost me three dollars in quarters (thank you Rachel for the coin pouch for my laundry quarters, Life for the change in my change jars, and tikimoof for counting my change [<3]) and I read my Calvin & Hobbes sunday pages.
F) Laughed. A lot. With Kiah. (This pervaded my day, basically.)
G) Slid into the Union just in time for dinner with Anne and Kiah, laughed at people who were too late and saw those grates over the doors/entrances
H) Discovered some beautiful clouds/sunset over the clock tower, proceeded to take panoramic views and watch some guys play football/futbol (two different games, mind, but both were on the Parade Grounds).
I) Walked across the Parade Grounds to chill at the flagpole, talked with Anne and Kiah for a while.
J) Felt... free for the first time as we walked back toward the dorm. (Paraphrasing myself:) "I answer to no one. It's eight o clock on a Saturday night, I'm walking across campus, I'm full and happy and full of laughter. I'm in college and it's only been one week. God, this is great."
K) Played Guitar Hero, disgusted Kiah with my fantastic abilities AND GOT THIS CLOSE TO BEATING LOU BUT DEAR GOD WHY CAN I FEEL MY FINGERS BLEEDING ON THIS INSIDE?
L) Got excited because Dane Cook is coming on tomorrow night on Comedy Central with Vicious Circle.
M) Indoctrinated Kiah with some Flight of the Conchords, spearheading my attack with Robots.
N) Facebooked Bumper Stickers -- TOO MANY, in fact, I've met my allotment for the day, apparently -- with Kiah. We were sitting right next to each other.
O) Realized how much Kiah has infiltrated my life in less than a week; decided I didn't care/it was awesome.
P) Didn't get one call or text back all day. From anyone. Exceptions include; Anne who invited us to dinner and Joehan who inquired about my evac status/well being.
So, for as much as I didn't do, listed as such, I did a lot.
