Jun 23, 2010 23:47

Day 3:

Distance: 3 miles
- jogged, walked 3 times (once in 2nd mile, at beginning and middle of 3rd mile)
- 37:35 minutes
- t-shirt, Nike shorts, thin socks, big black sports bra
- Nike Citrus (I'm calling them that from now on. The other pair will henceforth be known as New Balance Maroon Out.)

Weather:
- 82-24 degrees, 80% humidity
- Dry, sun had set

~ @ 8:30pm

+1 Sprite, 1 serving fries, McDonald's Homestyle burger
+1 fruit chiller popsicle

It was really hard to get up (from a nap post-work and food, as per usual with me) and out for this run today, but I feel better for it. I'm going to have to start eating better, because even though I'd eaten the burger hours before it was really weighing me down. (Meanwhile, it was the only thing I had to eat today besides water. Oops.) I think I'm also going to have to get some different headphones for my iPod. I currently have the 'earmuff' type, but that traps too much heat in my head. I'll have to get some lighter-weight wraparounds of some kind, since earbuds never stay in while I run.

Nothing hurts too bad, except I've got some chafing (why, hello, thighs. I see you've met one another...), which is annoying. It comes from being outside all day with work, sweating in clothes that don't breathe (i.e. khaki shorts). I'll be cutting down my hours significantly starting next week, so hopefully with losing weight that'll become less of a problem.

P.S. Totally didn't swim today.

>>Tomorrow's Run: 1.5 miles

Just put yourself in my new shoes
