Midnight Milkshakes and Think Tank being the Voyager episode on tonight.
So, I'm halfway through Push when Zach calls me to go out to Katz's for milkshakes. Well of COURSE I say yes! That was probably the fastest full shower I've ever taken in my life. I enjoy a toasty bagel and fruit and some of the most heavenly milkshake I've ever tasted in my entire life and then Julie and Zach and I talk while Abby is falling asleep on her couch.
Julie and I reserve time in my few remaining days to go buy me a tuner for Charlie and also possibly teach me a little more guitar before I depart. Zach wants me A) in on the postcard circle and B) to promise we'll stay in touch during school because he will miss me. Awww. I will miss him too. *smile*
They're driving me home when Liz texts me, "Oh, quantum slipstream drive. We never did get that to work right. OH KATHY." And I'm like "HOFUCK WHAT EPISODE OF VOYAGER IS ON RIGHT NOW?!>!?1>??" and she's like, "Um. Think Tank, srys." And I'm all "DAMN AND BLAST" and "DRIVE THIS THING FASTER" except not really for the latter, I didn't want to show off my geekdom too badly. Although we were discussing Firefly in the car and how I'd go gay for Gina Torres in about two seconds flat and giggling about all the best gag reel bits, so perhaps it wouldn't have gone over as badly as I suspected.
I call Liz the instant I'm back home and have turned on Voyager and she can hear me bouncing in my seat. Voyager makes me absolutely giddy and I'm going to blow a whole check on the complete series soon and I can hardly stand it. I just know I'm going to cave and buy it. And it's going to fucking ruin me financially.
Finally I get back to Push and I like it, but I was right. It was a mindfuck. Good though. And the ending was a bit abrupt, but I still liked it overall.
Now I'm trying to fall asleep before 5am rolls around, so I'm going to go. But not without saying that I am going to miss Wamu's online checking 'experience' because the Chase site in comparison is both boring and not as neat. It's totally bleh and I hate it. *frown*
