Lazy day off.

Jul 05, 2009 23:38

Well, first of all, I was up until 4:30am. For no reason, really, just because.

Then, I slept until about 2:00pm. About fifteen minutes into consciousness, I mass texted looking for something to do. Pretty much got shot down except for Tess being available a lot later.

So, I ate cereal, watched a couple episodes of Firefly because I can/there was nothing on basic cable and mom wasn't relinquishing her death grip on the regular remote, got struck by a little bit of inspiration for KoE, figured out some more stuff inside classifications in aforementioned novel, took a walk around the block with mom, then proceeded over to Tess's apartment.

Took over the leftovers from the 4th to Tess's, where I proceeded to have a long and involved conversation with her dad/Robert in Tess's absence, then dug into the remnants of barbequed deliciousness along with Tess, Zach and Robert. We chatted, slurped on watermelon. (Mmm. Tastes like summer.)

Currently posting this from Tess's Macbook. Oh, how I missed them. Sent her KoE. I want her to read it. She'll be good for feedback and such. She plans on joining the insanity this November. Ohhh, it's going to be madness. I'm already dreading looking forward to it.

nanowrimo, daily grind, friends
