"I think the finish line's a good place we could start"

Actually, Open Your Eyes or Run is a good place we could start.

For my next set of guitar lessons, anyway. Turns out most songs can be played with a combo of four chords! (I was trying to figure them out before, but it wasn't working-- and there was no way I was going to guess them. I've discovered.) Julie and I grabbed some Chipotle tonight after I came home from work and cleaned up and it stormed outside and then came back to my house so I could learn me some guitar. Apparently I'm a pretty quick study, at least of reading frets and such.

Pro of tonight: I can kinda play two songs! I feel cool!
Con of tonight: MY FINGERTIPS ARE BLEEDING

Okay, not really, but they hurt a lot and they're still going to get worse before they get better. Yeesh, typing hurts. Ow. Ow. Damn left hand doing a lot of the typing. Fuck.

Work today was... okay. Morning shift FTW, though. So much better than closing. Ken is officially on vacation and Tonya is the HBIC. I can only pray that Stanley doesn't show up too often, and this could be a really nice week. Opening for the rest of the week, basically.

AWWWWWWWW. And now I'm looking at Jenny's pictures from Houston's Gay Pride Parade and
seecatsmile  was there!! D: Now I'm really upset I didn't get to go. *is terribly sad*

music, soreness, becoming a real guitar hero, working hard or hardly working
