my snowshovel doesn't cut it anymore

It served steadfastly for twenty-seven years, I think, but it's worn out. The steel edge wore though and came loose from the blade. This was the perfect shovel. You're just like Ky. He falls in love with a tool that is "absolutely the best", it breaks with age and he laments his loss.

I can't give any opinion on this matter. But this post reminds me to go dig out and find where our snow shovel is because MAYBE this year it might snow here?! ha haha...

Dave has a favorite snow shovel. A heavy aluminum scoop coal shovel. I hope it never breaks. He talks all the time about how much he loves it. I appreciate a good tool too.

He'd probably look at my choice and think I'm crazy, but we all have our ways. I read a bunch of articles about the "best snow shovel of 2024" and many of them were by people who had certain ways of shoveling, and I was like, no, that doesn't work.
