Nacchan took a day off from her work, she didn’t really like the idea though. She liked her job so much, but today was her birthday. She wasn’t a type that made a big deal about her birthday, but her boyfriend made her to. She thought that it was so hard for his boyfriend to get a day off, so when he asked her to take a day off at her birthday, she couldn’t say no… For the honest reason, they usually didn’t have much quality time together, because works. So she thought that she would enjoy every second of this day.
She heard a slow knocking sounds from the front door and ran hastily to opened it. A handsome guy smiled to her, the red roses in his hand was so contrast with his white t-shirt. He hand over the roses to Nacchan, “Happy birthday…” he smiled sheepishly.
Nacchan smiled back in response, “Thank you!” she took a deep breath and the rose fragrance filled her smelling, sent a relaxing effect to her body, “We are going now? Are you sure you’re okay to take a day off?” he asked again just to make sure about that.
“I’m here now…not in America, so I’m sure you know the answer,” he took his sunglass off, exposed the deep brown eyes behind it. “Can we go now?” he asked back.
“Sure,” Nacchan just shrugged and put the roses on the table.
“Where are we going?” she asked as she sat on the car.
“Breakfast? We will have a very long day…” he suggested, Nacchan just nodded her head for approval. She actually didn’t really mind he brought her to anywhere.
He chose a nice restaurant that has a nice scenery. He whispered to Nacchan that the waffle and blueberry syrup there tasted great. They chose a nice table on the veranda so they could see the scenery while they had their breakfast. They both ordered the same food, waffle with blueberry syrup and cappuccino. Nacchan felt so ecstatic when she saw a heart float on her cappuccino.
“It’s so beautiful,” he commented, “For a second I think that I can’t drink it!”
“Well…we ordered so you can drink it,” he commented. Nacchan just laughed and take a ship on her cappuccino.
“Oishii…” she smiled as took her fork to taste the waffle. The waffle tasted perfect, really get a long well with the cappuccino. She wondered why he never brought her to this place. They finished their breakfast with a lot of laughs and smiles. Today would be really perfect…That what she thought…
She took the last ship of her cappuccino and placed the cup back to the table, that was the time…she heard a soft clink from her cup. She blinked her eyes twice and looked at her cup. There was something on the bottom of her cup…something sparkling…
She lifted her head to look at her boyfriend, and the later just smiled and nodded.
“A ring…?” she wasn’t even sure with her own eyesight.
He smiled sweetly and held her hand tenderly as he answered, “I hope you won’t be angry if I ruin your birthday with an engagement party…”
