(no subject)
i received an email from southwest airlines last night telling me that i had earned a free roundtrip flight to anywhere southwest flies. im part of their rapid rewards program, which is basically like frequent flier miles. i think its something like if you make 8 round trip flights in a year you get a certificate that is good for one year. at first i thought that, since i'm flying up to see kristen in october, id use it for that. then i started thinking, this is a free flight ANYWHERE southwest flies. why not use it for something a little bigger?
when i was in the airport this last weekend i bought a copy of Elle to flip through while i was waiting. they had an article that was something like "25 really cool things that are really cool" (not the article name). i saw that the MoMA in new york is having a retrospective of tim burton's illustrations and short films which runs from late november to early april. check out the little blurb about it here: http://www.moma.org/visit/calendar/exhibitions/313
i was thinking that wouldnt that be a cool thing to do for my birthday!?!
when kristen was visiting she had mentioned that it might be fun to take a trip somewhere so i thought this might be cool.
