Totally random, but when I was watching Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, I thought hmm...Norah could TOTALLY play Alaska in Looking for Alaska...el movie version
( Read more... )
Yeah, I can see that. I've been thinking Kristen Stewart, myself, since she's physically how I pictured Alaska (thin, lean, with long, dark hair), and she's also got that awkward-yet-edgy thing going on.
To be honest though, that's one book that I'd sort of hate to see made into a movie. I think it'd loose a lot of it's intensity and emotion if Hollywood got hold of it. But then, maybe it could be pulled off as an indie...
See, I see 'Norah' (not sure her real name) because in the book, they describe Alaska as 'curvy'...and I think the girl playing Norah definitely has a curvier body.
And I TOTALLY agree. On the one hand, it's good because the entire time I read it, I was thinking, "This could totally be a movie..." and I started casting it and thinking of the soundtrack...but on the OTHER hand, I'm afraid that Hollywood will completely ruin it. I'm terrified...I hope they do a good job with it (because, if you didn't know, it definitely IS being turned into a film. It just hasn't been cast yet).
...oye. I'm scared...if they ruin it, I'm gonna be angry...
