XL Champs!!
I cannot tell you how excited I am that we won! It was a great feeling! I was literally crying when they showed Bettis's mom crying at the end. I was screaming into the night in FC, hoping to wake up and piss off some rich people. Haha! The best part was that I stayed until Tuesday for the big parade. That was INSANE!!
We got down there at 9:30 and didn't leave until 1:30. It was sooo cold and windy and by 11 it was super crowded. We (being me, Katie and her bf Rob) had a spot on the curb at the end of the parade route in Gateway Center. By the time the parade actually started there were people EVERYWHERE and we could not move. We kept getting pushed farther and farther forward. The cars going by could barely fit with the people in the streets begging for autographs.
At one point a mounted police horse kicked the front of one of the cars and some dude in the back. It was scary, but sooooo amazing to see our guys up close. I took a ton of pics, and it is really cool to think that I am in some of their videos, cuz some guys were video taping the parade. I just felt awesome knowing that I was a part of the 250,000 fans downtown. I was one of them!

Skipping college classes for 2 days - ?
Standing in downtown Pittsburgh for 4 hours with 250,000 other fans to welcome our World Champion Steelers home - priceless
Yeah....I didn't get back to Winchester until 8:00 on Tuesday night. I'm still tired.
I auditioned at CMU on Saturday too. I felt really good about it, but it was weird that I only sang one song out of the three I had prepared. I think I sounded great and I wasn't nervous at all. So who knows...it is in God's hands.
This weekend I'm auditioning at Gettysburg College, though I can't really come up with a good reason why. It's in God's hands...
And my WVU audition is the weekend after that. I'm excited because my current voice teacher's wife teaches there, and she is wonderful! She may even play for my audition. I just excited to see how all of this plays out this time.
I still miss my David...4 more months...just 4 more months.
