OK for the update...

Last night I had my interview at 6:30, I was really nervous but thankfully I got it together before I walked in! I thought that there was going to be a huge interviewing committee but when I got there one person had showed up (Wendy) and then another lady showed up (Gloria) along with pastor that was it. We started off in prayer and then they started asking me questions- What lead me to this point? Why did I accept Christ when I was 7 and with that experience how important do I think children's ministry is? What would I do with an unruly child? What are my visions for the children's ministry? How would I describe my personality? Is this a short term job or long term? What would I do with a child that needs attention? How would I put together my team of help? And many others... I feel that I did well answering the questions they seemed impressed and it made me realize that all the experience I have had working with children helped to prepare me for those questions. I now look back and wish I would have added more but when you are on the spot it is hard to think. One really cool thing am going to mention is that I asked pastor if he would be willing to work around my school schedule so I could finish my degree and he said YES!!!

Unfortunately I did not get a time frame of when I would know either way or how many people have applied. Pastor was really vague and Jeff thinks that I could be the only one that applied, so who knows! It is in God's hands as it has always been. Please continue to pray that God's will will be done
