3 in one day!
I DON'T HAVE A CAR ANYMORE!!! actually, that's kind of a lie. i do. it's sitting in the parking lot right now. BUT, it's SOLD. okay, that isn't really true either. don't cha wanna hear the story? don't cha wanta wanta .....
so i met the little man named onur who is from turkey and moved to the US to find a job (which he did at microsoft and now i suspect he is much richer than i), and he drove it, he liked it, a mechanic looked at it and said it was a-ok, and he said "i would like to buy your car". i was so happy i would have given it to him for one dolla, but he kindly offered 6800, i danced on the inside, remained composed on the outside, accepted, we drove to a bank to get the cash then and there, the world is against me because the bank closed at 1, it was 1:45, and the other location was open until 2 but there was no way we could make it so....i will have to wait for monday night and meet the nice turkish man named onur again to sign over the title to my car and accept a large bag filled with money. SWEET. yeah, i think so.
i am quite proud. i sold my tiny car, to a nice man who will love it and care for it, and now i can pay for spring semester and not take out a loan! whoosh, that's me making a sweet slam dunk in the basket-ball hoop of life.
and i took kiva to the dog park, and i remembered to bring the toys and now i get to read more harry potter. life is SO good. simple.
