They had been dating for a few months. Connie realized that she had never met his niece and nephew, whom he was very close to. So she set a date. It was decided that they would watch a movie together, play a board game, and anything else they wanted to do. Connie picked the movie, Monsters Inc., one of her favorites. When the time came the two kids were sitting on the couch with Otto, waiting for their popcorn. Connie was in the kitchen waiting by the microwave. Cyrus came in and leaned against the counter next to her.
“Havin’ fun?” he asked.
“Yes, I am now get out of here and put in the movie!” she swatted at him as he strolled out.
By the end of the movie his niece was peacefully asleep in her lap, Cyrus had one arm around Connie and the other holding the small sleeping boy in his lap, and Otto was snoring from the other end of the couch. And Connie realized that she had never had so much fun watching Pixar.
