Summery: Back from their trip, edward and bella arrive at their new home, and enjoy a few nice moments before trouble hits
I looked out the window as we sped down the highway, way above the speed limit. Edward was right, i loved fast cars. The speed, the wind, the livelyhood. It was the closest we could get to running without exposing ourselves. We were heading back to our house in Alaska, close to the Denali clan, where our family was, eagarly awaiting us. Edward smiled down at me with his famous crooked smile as he drove, wearing his bright blue aviators. Even though i was now a vampire, i couldn't help be dazzled by his eyes, his face, his smile. I smile back and wrapped my hands around him, feeling his cold, perfect body under my touch. We drove like that for a while, together, on the highway as it should always be, forever.

"Bella, we're almost home." murmured edward and i looked outside the window. He was right, i'd lost track of time. When your a vampire, time literally flies, without you knowing it. Edward parked the Volvo in the drive way and i looke up at the place we called home. I smiled, the house reminded me of the one back in Forks, with its 3 stories and huge rooms with beds that were only there as decoration. Edward opened the door and i stepped out slowely gazing into his eyes. He grinned.
"Come on you little, shopping with Alice won't be that bad. I'll even come if you like." he said. I laughed. It was true, Alice would be ready to tackle me and drag me to the mall as soon as i stepped through the door.
"I bet she's allready ready to go." i said. My aversion of shopping had not changed when i was a vampire and Alice still persisted to go shopping every week ever since i'd turned. Hand in hand, edward and i walked into the house. We were greeted by the whole family in the living room where we stood grinning happilly at everyone.
Everyone hugged each other in welcome. Carlise stepped forward and smiled.
"Welcome back bella, edward." he said. Edward smiled. Alice, bounded forward with enthusiasm and hugged me tightly.
"Hi bella! Ready to go shopping?" she asked. I rolled my eyes and Edward laughed his soft velvet laugh.
"Actually Alice, i was thinking about teaching Bella how to play the piano." said edward as he looked down at me. My eyes lit up with excitement and edward laughed. I looked up at him with excitement and he smiled crookidly.
'Well, as long as she doesn't ruin our ears." chuckled Emmet in the back of the room. I punched Emmet playfully int he arm.
'Oh shut up emmet." i said giggling. Emmet rubbed his arm where i'd punched him looking slightly ticked off.
"Be careful she doesn't break the thing." he murmured. Everyone laughed and slowely seperated. It felt good to have the whole Cullen family together under one roof now that i was truelly one of them. I followed Edward to our room where a piano was sitting in the corner as he pulled me down to sit by him. He placed his hands on the keys and began playing my lullabye. I remembered the soft song from the days i was human, the first time i'd heard him play it at the house in Folks, how it brought tears to my eyes. Even after hearing it so many times, the song made me want to cry, if i could. Edward's hands glided on the keys as he starred deeply into my eyes, analyzing every emotion, trying to crack into my mind. I smiled. The song ended and we sat on the bench for a imeasurable amount of time gazzing out into the sunset. I thought about all that had happened to me since i'd married Edward. Everything was so blissful, i wanted to live like this for eternity and luckily that was everything we had ever since the change. Edward had been frantically nervous, and i couldn't blame him, so was i. But after 3 days of torture, i could finally have eternity with my love edward. Just as Arro had expected, i had a power, the power to block not only block mental attacks aimed at myself, but at whoever i wanted, which proved quite useful when it came to Alice and her visions about me and edward together. Also, it seemed as though i needn't hunt as much as the rest of the Cullens. A small rabbit could fill my diet for a week, a matter that facinated everyone, especially Carlisle. Finally, i decided to break the trance.
"How do you expect me to play that in one try?" i asked. Edward's face quickly broke out of the trance and he laughed out loud looking at me.
"Come my love, Alice is planning a game of chess and she's determined to smuther me this time." I laughed.
"But thats never going to happen." said Edward as we slowely descended the stairs. We arrived in the living room where everyone was seated, with grim looks on their faces. Carlisle was looking out the window and everyone else lay in silence either looking at the ground or in deep thought. Immediatly, edward froze. I tensed up, whatever was coming for us, i was prepared, i could handle this now, i was a vampire.
"No! How long?" exclaimed edward as he flew down the stairs towards Alice. Alice lay curled up against Jasper with a worried look.
"15 minutes. And no i have no idea." she replied.
"What? What's going on? Edward? Alice?" i yelled franticly. Edward turned to me and sighed.
"The Volturi Bella. They're coming, but we don't know why.
