After I finally received my package from mom yesterday, (my arms are SO sore from carrying it from American School to my house...) I was really excited to read a few things. First of all, my prophecies, notes from the Lord to my little heart! Hooray! Second...Captivating!
Oh, this is a precious book. It speaks to my heart every time I read it. I'm reminded of the beauty of difference between men and women, and how happy I am to be a woman, even when I don't understand my own emotions! The Lord gave me GOOD things.
Like He said to me through a pastor:
" Your sensitivity is not a bad thing, it is not a burden, it is Me. Use it for Him. Your sensitivity for people".
Phew. A relief.
But anyway, I love this book. It's a breath of fresh air to my girlie heart! I decided to look up something about it online. Unfortunately, as always, I found a critique. As I said to Rick a few minutes ago--please remind me that when I write and print books, don't look up critiques, because they will crush my spirit.
Anyway, this sad critique was written by a woman who was...hard, to say the least. It's clear who the people are who don't like this book, and I am so saddened by it, because it's like, "Woman! Be softened by the Lord!" It's so easy to be hard-shelled and stubborn in the world, the world shapes us.
Which leads me to another thought.
"You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God?
Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." --James 4:4
I don't remember exactly what context I was thinking about this in today, but whatever it was, it left me thinking how true this Bible verse is.

So today Rick took me to a park! We had a picnic!! With HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You wouldn't even believe my excitement! It was a BEAUTIFUL park too. Oh it was so precious and wonderful! It was a beautiful thing for Rick to do, because last weekened we were told that we were going on a "picnic" and I was super excited for a blanket and sandwiches and sun and reading outside and talking with friends...but instead, it was a tour of some old Korean place and a lunch at a restaurant. Because Rick knew how disappointed I was, he surprised me with a picnic today, with my favorite picnic foods--foods like CHEESE and "processed ham" (as he says) --foods I didn't even know you could BUY in Korea! So Praise God!
Then we spent the afternoon talking under trees, and singing worship songs from "the songbook" that Reitzy let us borrow for our trip. I liked it.
110 days!!!
It feels like that time is going to go by sooo quickly, especialy now that it's sunny and Spring again! Super duper yay!
