An Emu for you, an Emu for me...
Lots has happened over the past couple weeks/months since I've last updated.
Where to start...??
I'll try not to make it too long...sorry! =P
I'm still working at the Altoona Mirror... been there for about 8-9 months... craziness. It's almost a year since being out of school, time really really flies by now. I don't know where it goes, it goes waaaaaayyy too fast!
Andy is moving half an hour away to this little farmette/previous hunting camp. His brother decided one day to buy this house with 22 acres of land out in Williamsburg in the middle of nowhere, so Andy will be living with his brother and now his father.
His dad is now going through divorce #2... and it's been rather tough for me to see them go through this, and it has just begun, and it will just get worse. Its going to get very nasty, and I really hate it. I love them both, and they're both like family to me, and to see this is awful. I don't even know half of it, because I don't want to know about it. It's just so much better that way, its horrible.
So that's quite interesting, if you ask me. Perhaps if I can learn how to post photos on this thing, I'll post pics of the 'farm' they'll be living at.
Oh yeah... and his brother is thinking of raising Emu's... no kidding. I feel like I'm in a wacked out crazy dream. They're going to raise some Emu's... and make some kind of income or something like that with them. Anyone know anything about raising Emu's???
I still have my car...and hopefully will have my new car by the end of the month. Quite exciting, I've had the car I have now since I've been 16. I've decided to get a 06 Honda Civic, I just put a bit of money down to hold it for me to see if all the paper work will go through. yay!
And... Andy is getting a new motorcycle too... he's been approved and I guess we're picking it up this week. It's an 06 Harley Davidson Ultra Glide, a full dress bike. I'm excited, its the bike I've always wanted to ride on. I'm a little hesitant because it's something I thought wouldn't come along until we were like 30... but then I thought the same thing about a car. I think he wanted to get something new because I was... he had to take all the fun out of it and get something too. No, its all good. =P
This is quite the beginning of an interesting summer. I'll try to keep you all posted.
