The Pride Challenge
Jack's a 51st century immortal who's been working for Torchwood since nearly the beginning and Ianto Jones is definitely much more than a teaboy. Both of them have abilities that put them above most people, but how often does that knowledge lead to overconfidence?
What happens when pride comes between them? Have they ever been too certain they could handle a situation and then lost control? What about choices they've made for other people because they think they know best, or the times they've argued over bruised egos?
And then there are the fun aspects like games of one-upmanship, persuading Jack into letting Ianto dry-clean his greatcoat, the pride they have in each other. Did Jack have to convince Ianto to let go of his 'manly pride' the first time they shared a bed (or a desk, or the SUV)?
So for a month Jack and Ianto are in your hands. Does pride come before a fall? Or is it what holds our two boys together? We're all proud of them, but what does pride mean to them?
