I see people in new lights all the time. Maybe 'light' isn't the correct word. Sometimes my angle on people shift to a brighter on look, but how often are we surprised of people's good nature, but rather crestfallen at their exposer of... regularness. I usually become disappointed. More than disappointed, I become numb to them. Bad situations expose how we are really thinking. The more I know about a certain individual, my curiosity dims. I tend to find certain individuals that compel intrigue to me, as with others. I have known specific incidents where others have allowed themselves to think of me this way, as well as times where I have thought the same of others. Once you give up too much to anyone, it all comes apart at the seams. Maybe this is why most intelligent people, or ones I consider to be, tend to look away from people and towards things we don't understand yet. Things that continues to give us that gleeful feeling of discovery and awe.
