EVENT: NEW YEARS EVE 2009-2010

WHERE: Claray Park/Clubhouse.
WHAT: The neighborhood is holding a New Years Eve bash! There are drinks a-plenty for those of age and of course fireworks, loud music and well--lets just say Denise is out of town and Mikolas is in charge of this

Although he had initially intended to hold this at his own house, Heracles decided that the best place to gather the most attendance to his celebratory card game was to include it in the festivities the neighborhood itself was holding.

He found himself a visible but out-of-the-way corner (and definitely indoors from the winter cold) to set up a card table covered with green felt and large enough to comfortably seat 4-8 people. Sitting at that table, Heracles had shuffled several decks of cards, ready for any type of game that a person may want to play. He was actually quite the showman with his cards, having once worked a part-time job as a dealer at a fancy casino. He'd had a lot of time to practice through the years.

It was still early, so Heracles set himself up a game of solitaire. A game like this would not really satisfy tradition, but it was something to pass the time until he found someone to join in on a friendly game of cards and chance. For the luck of the New Year.

He hoped that Aeneas and Gilbert had gotten the message he'd left on the initial party invitation....
