Che was shoveling away at the sidewalk just after Matthew had left his residence. It was a little warmer but really not all that much and honestly, to Che it would never be warm enough until winter rolled through. Grumbling to himself had turned into singing to himself, mouthing the words more often then stating them as he pushed aside more and more snow and the dogs that were bounding around had taken up the game of trying to pick up the chunks of snow that collected on the shovel and were tossed to the side. Though, when they heard another dog coming, they stopped and turned around ( ... )

Gilbert took a deep breath. He knew this man. Sort of. It was Ludwig's friend. Gilbert couldn't quite remember his name though he thought it started with a 'C'.

"Sorry!" He called back. "He won't bite either, just slobber a lot. He's a little over excited. He might jump, though."

As if Arturo understood English, he sniffed at the other dogs before running full speed at the other man. Gilbert tried to call out to him but it was too late. The dog's large, front paws were on the man's shoulders and most of his weight was pushed into those two paws.

Gilbert cringed before walking through the path Arturo created to help the other man. At least there was a lot of snow to break a fall...

Che never really saw it coming, but then again, he seemed to be the one who attracted accidents like no ones business that year. Hit by a car, a bike, and all matter of things, but a dog was something new asides the one day with Kumajiro, but, he didn't count that as he could never actually be mad at Matthew. This, was very strange because Che normally had no problem being mad about something.

Today though, he was certain it was just meant to be like this all day, because he could not really blame the dog for wanting to play and well--he wouldn't blame the owner either as his own dogs were out and about but now, as he lay flat in the snow, a large dog above him, his three of a pack hovered around as well, licking his face and barking.

Che dizzily put his hands up to place on the large dogs torso and pat him while turning his head away from his own mutts. "Oye, oye! Off with you beast!"

"I am so sorry," Gilbert said to the other man when he was closer. He grabbed Arturo's collar and pulled backwards, using all of his weight to pry the excited dog off. The dog didn't budge, however, he noticed the other dogs again and ran off to play with them.

"He just gets really excited sometimes. Feli kind of gave up on trying to get him to do anything he's told when he gets like this."

He offered a cold, slightly shaking hand to the other man.

The three mixed-breeds jostled the other off their semi-owner and out into the snow to play, barking happily and running around creating patterns in the snow drenched yard. Che on the other hand, looked at the hand that was offered and took it, pushing himself up off the ground and smiling slightly at the other, attempting to bite back any bitter comments as it really was not the dogs fault nor the owners.

"'S alright, dogs will be dogs." He chuckled and dusted himself off, his body hurting a little from the fall. The other dog seemed like a good dog, huge, but good and trained enough. He was happy and outgoing and that was the best thing to see in a dog.

It was always a shame when they were boring.
