何者: KIKU HONDA; RAIVIS GALANTE; Anyone else who stops in
何時: A pleasant weekday afternoon~
何処: At/near/around the local TV Station.
何事: Kiku invited Raivis in for a recording session, so let's do it! Others can happen to come watch or wander in later; he'll show you around and stuff.
注意: * There's a Starbucks coffee shop, Robeks smoothie shop and Quiznos sandwich shop in the first floor of the building. * Individual threads or * mingling/threadhopping = as always TTLY OK * yoroshiku!
Kiku flopped down onto a chair surrounded by enough buttons, dials and displays to be mistaken for a space shuttle cockpit, but his senses were completely dulled to them-- it was actually just an editing bay, and in fact not even his, but since the rush of the Morning Show was dying down and he'd been on his feet since 5:00 am, he just ducked in to escape the noise.
Just outside this little soundproofed and THX Certified room was the rest of the world in chaos; or more specifically the main newsroom packed with reporters, a couple of meteorologists, sandwich guy, composers, some lady on the phone, cameramen and that guy who's in charge of making the little graphics that say "Live from Washington, DC" or whatever. But the ambient droning as the Morning News shift traded off with the 6 O'Clock News shift could only barely seep in through the editing bay insulation because Kiku left the door open.
And it was a good thing he did-- because he couldn't be found at his own desk, nor at the producer's desk, nor in the master tape room, the receptionist now gave up calling around and paged throughout the entire studio:
"Kiku Honda, please dial 1228. You have a visitor waiting at the South Reception Desk. Again, Kiku Honda, dial 1228. Thank you."
So of course he called to the receptionist right away, asked them to offer whoever was waiting a drink and then gathered himself enough to go down... time for a change of pace.
