Did you marry someone from your high school?
I attended two high schools in two different states. My husband didn’t go to either of them
His was one year ahead of me and his school is about ten miles away from mine.
Did you car pool to school?
I rode the bus my freshman year and a few weeks into my sophomore year I had my license.
What kind of car did you have?
A 1990 (I think) Ford Tempo, a 1987 Ford Thunderbird, a 1989 Ford Escort (seeing a trend here?) then I wised up and bought a Honda Accord.
What kind of car do you have now?
2003 Toyota Celica GT
It’s Friday night…where were you? (during school)
Either at home, at play rehearsal, or for a brief period out with a boyfriend.

Home cuddling with my husband.
What kind of job did you have in high school?
Bank teller.
What do you do now?
Child Welfare caseworker.
Were you a party animal?
Not in the slightest.
Were you considered a flirt?
I highly doubt it.
Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Choir.
Did you get suspended/expelled?
No.
Can you sing the fight song?
I don’t remember either school’s fight song.
Who was/were your favorite teacher(s)?
My favorites changed from year to year. No one really stood out that much. I typically liked my English and Drama teachers best.
Where did you sit during lunch?
Typically with choir or drama friends.
What was your school’s full name?
I’d rather not say - they’re both from verrrry small towns!
When did you graduate?
2000
What was your school mascot?
Highclimber and Eagle.
If you could go back and do it again, would you?
If I could go back and do some things differently and still end up exactly the same person with my life exactly the same as it is now, sure. I wouldn’t go back and do everything exactly the same, though.
What do you remember most about graduation?
It rained and we were outside. Oh - and they let every single person that wanted to sing/dance/speak do whatever they wanted to. It was a long ceremony.
Who did you take to prom Senior year?
My boyfriend at the time, Derek.
Did you have fun at Prom?
I had an absolute blast. Little did I know at the time that he was planning on breaking up with me two days later
Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion or whichever comes next?
Probably not. I’d rather go to my high school’s reunion in Washington. I didn’t really make a lot of friends at my Oregon high school.
