I've said this before, but you are a terrific writer, Beth! This was kind of like the seven stages of grief -- or however many there are -- only these are the stages of separation and reconsiliation, and can only be written by someone with a heart as deep as yours. :) I loved the quotes you used, as well as your characterizations of Hayden and Milo.
