Graduation.....
Well yesterday I graduated from VT Tech as an LPN! I still have to take my NCLEX... But I'm sure I won't have any trouble with them! I got to there with my cap, gown and black tassel and they informed me that I was graduating with honnors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! That meant that I got to remove my black tassel from my cap and replace it with a pretty gold one!!! It was really awesome! I felt so blessed to have finally made it that far! I have wanted to be a nurse for most of my life and it is such an amazing feeling that I have actually accomplished it! :) Very cool!
However, the day was a little bittersweet! The girls I have been with for the past 10 months, day in and day out.... Well, we had to say goodbye, at least for now! Danielle, who is the best, was my staple for the year! We both said that we didn't know how we wouldn't have gotten thru the year if we hadn't had each other! God really blessed me with some great girls to learn with! I am so proud of all of us..
The accomplishment hadn't hit me until I was in the ceremony and the guest speaker was talking about how great of a difference our class of nurses will make in the world... Wait, she called us NURSES!!!!!! OH MY WORD.................. I am a nurse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol... Thats when I realized that I am no longer a student this year.... I am actually really a nurse!!!!!
Anywhoo..... I am excited and I am really looking forward to see how God will use me, with all the skills I have and am going to learn!!!!!!!!
