A few weeks ago I had a problem with the local Pizza Hut.(Claremore Oklahoma). I wrote a letter online discussing my problem. The problem was that I had an awful experience a few months ago at that Pizza Hut. I complained and was sent a free pizza coupon. When I went to use the coupon the guy would not accept the coupon and was very very rude. He was VERY rude. I was going to go ahead and pay to order a pizza but he didn't seem to want to help me with that either. He was just rude..
So I complained again.. I get a call today from the District Manager, who was also very RUDE. After arguing with me about the coupon(he claimed the original problem was at another location so he didn't have to deal with it.) I informed him that the letter said ANY Pizza Hut location and read him the letter.
After arguing with him for ten minutes, he told me that the guy should have taken my coupon and I was free to use that coupon. However, he was not going to do anything about the way I was treated because "Pizza Hut had already sent me two free pizzas." I was like, "Um no they sent me ONE free pizza that I couldn't use the coupon for.." He then backtracked and said the email said one coupon.
He then treated me like I was looking to get something for nothing. When he asked what I wanted, I said"an apology.." He remarked" I'm sorry." Which was a total line of bull shit. He then had the nerve to say "What you want me to fire someone?"
He did not have a problem with the original guys jerkiness. He was quite a jerk himself. He would not give me his name. He was rude and made no effort to correct the wrong doing of his employees and company.
So, I'm calling for a boycott of Pizza Hut. This isn't the only restaurant that treats customers like this, and if management is also behaved in this jerkish manner..The company should suffer the consequences.
Just say NO TO PIZZA HUT!! Especially the one in Claremore, OK.
