Week One
Steve and I are heading for Warrensburg this afternoon for the long awaited reunion with college buddies (from the 60s and 70s) We have motel rooms waiting and a seat at the bar at the local pub where the gang hung out. Ed, The Vegetable, from N.J. has Parkinson’s Disease and is in a wheelchair. He’s sent a video tape for us to watch. I’m really looking forward to that. Here’s a look back -- view from Stanley Park. Today besides heading to Warrensburg, we get the papers from Mobility First to fill out for a motorized scooter for Dad, meet him at the Doctor’s Office to get his TB test checked and pickup the medical papers for the home, and deliver paperwork to the Administrator at John Knox. Also will deliver cookies to the store for Story Time. (The kids decorated them last night!) Need to exchange some “long johns” at Walmart for Dad, and pack for the weekend. Did I forget anything?
