Goodbye Amuse!
As of this month, my career as a boutique clothier in Ottawa is coming to a close. This is quite possibly the best place anyone could work in clothing retail in Ottawa. I certainly wouldn't have spent 10 months there otherwise (though, I was fairly miserable as an assistant to a window stylist for a major retail chain for that amount of time...)
I will miss being a part of that sweet "NorDal" community, and especially with the staff at our shop, but decided after much consideration that it was time to move on.
It was basically the easiest resignation ever, and I'm sure if I hadn't quit Patti would've cut me loose anyway, for the good of the both of us. I think we were both quite relieved after a really candid and unbelievably easy discussion. When your heart ain't in it anymore, you've just gotta hit the road.
