First Entry.
Well I have finally decided that Livejournal is the place for me.. well actually Taylor has one and now Becca is creating one so I have some motivation to acually keep up with this thing. So, this year is half gone and boy am I happy, but a little disappointed in the fact that I really thought that Sophmore year would be better grades wise but I am still struggling, and I feel really insecure about theater right now. Mini Musicals are starting in 2 weeks and I know I will just be stuck in a lame part and in the most stupid mini musical choice ever.. PHANTOM. I mean seriously what are they thinking choosing a musical that is way complex with its costumes & sets and the score is just so difficult. I just wish sometimes that someone would think of me in a main part in Buffy or Wizard of Oz. It just seems so hopeless in the fact about getting into a good musical with people who are also supportive.
I started thinking about the good ol' Joseph days with Taylor, Shaun and Matt. I mean our group of 4 was dramatic but man did we have some fun times. I know that Taylor does'nt ever wana re live that experience but I really do miss it. I also miss just not knowing about alot of things.. being more innocent to the fact that everyone now drinks or smokes and about many other things (not to be named.. unless you know about what I am talking about). Maybe I am just being stupid about the whole thing but I just miss somethings about last summer.
Some recent news are that I got into Hello Dolly our Winter show and so far it is pretty fun. Its way easy just being a Towns person because the lack of rehersals and just less of everything -giggles-. I love being in a show with alot of my close friends and its easy just having rehersals at night instead of weekends! :)
So this Winter Break has been very eventful and acually I have been doing alot of really great things. I had a wonderful Christmas holiday and a very exciting New Years. Taylor and I decided it would be really fun to throw a New Years Eve party with a few close friends. We ended up planning the whole thing in about 1 day but it turned out to work perfectly. It ended up being just with Taylor, Me, Becca, Adam, Caroline, Tyler, Danny, Spencer and Tracy, but man does that group work really well together. No drama I mean none and that is what I enjoy. Our party was themed Red, Black, Gold and Silver so we asked everyone to dress accordingly but slightly dressy more so than casual. All day Taylor and I had decorated the house with streamers, balloons and these gold stars and had set out chips and dip for people to enjoy. Everyone arrived around 9:45-10:00 and when everyone did we had a surprise for them. Taylor and I decided it would be fun to give everyone a hat or costume piece to wear though out the night. So we planned that in a balloon (with the persons name on it) was a peice of paper with the costume named on it. When they popped the balloon they told us what there costume was and we gave it to them. Most of the costumes were just little dorky hats and in one case fairy wings. Overall everyone enjoyed having something special to put on to spice up their outfit. After that little game, we just sat around talking, played twister, ate and played pool. At like 45 to midnight Taylor put on the episode of Family Guy the Y2K one (themed for our New Years Eve party) and most everyone enjoyed the funny episode. Wow.. and at midnight everyone went crazy we ran outside to my driveway and popped those poppers, screamed really loud, banged on pots and pans and sprayed people with silly string. Man was that party really fun!
I was so happy that the party turned out really really well.
Since then I have just been at home, and hung with Taylor. Today since I have not seen Becca in forever, Taylor, Becca and I went to get our nails done at this super nice relaxing place called Universe Nail Spa. I got a Pedicute and Manicure, but Taylor just got Pedicute and Becca got both as well. Our nails all look amazing :). After that we went back to Taylors to watch the movie Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. It was acually an okay movie but I just didn't really get alot of what they were saying.. half because I was really tired and the other half because I was just not really listening. We turned it off half way through.. because of a small fight but thay quickly ended. We ended up eating dinner, just hung out in Taylors room and I fixed Taylors myspace. The day was really fun and we also made plans to go Bowling on Wednesday, Harray!
Now, I am sitting and just relaxing but now my mom is screaming at me to get upstairs and go to bed since its uh.. 11:39 and my mom is a freak about going to be on time.. hmm I wonder what time is on time?
