fourth of july weekend
i hope everyone is having a great weekend, cuz i kno i am. friday night i went to the timbers game and worked at half time. i handed out candy to all these kids after they scored a goal. and josh saunders was warming up right by me.. ahh. i also went to the wilson game and saw a ton of people that i knew. wilson won both games and travis pitched a shut out 11-0! on saturday i super cleaned my room because i leave on thursday and then my cousin and his girlfriend come to visit. then later that night i went to go see dodge ball with travis. the movie is actually hilarious, although kinda gross in some parts. then today i went to the duniway parade thing and i saw some kids i babysit that just learned how to ride a bike and he was soo happy! then i hung out with laura and her french exchange student, Anise. she is soo frickin nice, even though i don't really understand what she says half the time. we speak in french/english to each other. it mostly works, mainly because we use a lot of hand signals and simple words. we lit a ton of fireworks, some of which were illegal and i almost got hit by one. now i can see more fireworks out the window and they are really cool and pretty. fourth of july is so cool because it is a prety big holiday in our country, but all you do to celebrate it is light some fireworks and get drunk. at least that is how some people look at it. next year for the forth of july i think im gonna go somewhere, because you are also to appreciate the fireworks a lot more when you don't have to light them yourself. i hope everyone had a great fourth of july. and make a comment if you have any interesting stories about events that occurred today...
